While, delegates are under no obligation to use these hotels, should you to do so, you must book these through our team.

Holders of normal passports travelling as tourists can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 30 days at Imam Khomeini International Airport.
This facility is not available for nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, India, Iraq, Jordan, Pakistan, United Kingdom and United States. These nationalities are required to apply for an Iranian visa at an Iranian embassy/consulate prior to their arrival in Iran.

Association arranged a Team to Facilitate Visas for these nationalities.

Many international carriers fly to Iran either direct or indirect (via popular hubs such as Dubai and Istanbul). Most flights are to Imam Khomeini International Airport which is a 45 minute taxi ride from the city centre.

Currency and credit cards

The national currency is the Iranian Rial. Debit and credit cards won’t work in Iran. There are no cash machines that accept international banks cards. Travellers’ cheques are also very difficult to change. Most hotels and all banks are able to change international currency ($US and € Euros are best) so you should bring enough hard currency with you
